Curious Minds Club is a small club. We want to tell you — in plain language — what we collect, why, and what we will and won't do with it. If anything below is unclear, email hello@curiousmindsclub.com and we'll explain it properly.

Who we are

When we say "we" on this page, we mean the small team behind the club. When we say "you", we mean anyone who visits the site, joins the club, or contacts us.

What we collect

When you join the club through the signup form, you give us:

• Your first and last name — so the Sunday email feels like it's actually written to you, not a list.
• Your email address — so we can send you the Sunday Quiz and occasional updates.
• Your phone number — so we can reach you for early access to the community app (KINDRD) when it launches, and for any time-sensitive club updates.

We also collect basic technical information your browser sends to any website: pages you visit, rough location (country / city), device type, and referring link. We use this only to understand whether the club is reaching the right people.

Why we collect it

• To send you the Sunday Quiz and the videos that go with it.
• To tell you when something we're building — like KINDRD — is ready for you.
• To understand what's working and what isn't, so we can make the club better.

That's it. We don't profile you for advertising, and we don't enrich your record with third-party data.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
• We don't rent, lease, or share your contact details with other brands, creators, or data brokers.
• We don't send daily email or SMS barrages. The Sunday Quiz is the ritual; anything else is occasional and high-signal.

Where your data lives

Your contact details are stored in the email platform we use to run the club, and in our own records. The platform is protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We choose providers with reasonable security practices, and we keep the list of people with access small.

Some of our providers are based outside Australia — typically the United States. By joining the club, you're OK with your data being processed overseas for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can:

• See what we hold about you — email us and we'll share it.
• Fix anything that's wrong — email us with the correction.
• Leave the list — every email has a one-click unsubscribe. The door is always open both ways.
• Be forgotten — ask us to delete your record and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.

Requests go to hello@curiousmindsclub.com. We aim to respond within 30 days, which is the standard under the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count how many people visit, which pages they land on, and roughly where in the world they're coming from. Vercel Web Analytics doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint devices, and doesn't share data with third parties. It lets us understand whether the club is reaching the right people without tracking anyone as an individual.

The embedded YouTube player may set its own cookies when you play a video; YouTube's privacy policy applies to that.

Beyond Vercel Web Analytics, we use the minimum cookies needed to run the site — the kind that remember things like whether you've closed a banner, not the kind that follow you around the web.

Children

The club isn't aimed at children under 16. If you're under 16, please don't sign up without a parent or guardian. If we discover we've collected information from a child without consent, we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll note it at the top and, for anything significant, we'll email the list.

Complaints

If you think we've handled your information poorly, tell us at hello@curiousmindsclub.com and we'll try to make it right. If we can't, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
